A Detailed Guide about MBA Admission Test
All the Best MBA colleges in Hyderabad, or elsewhere need clearing some tough entrance examinations like XAT, CMAT, IIFT, ATMA, SNAP, MAT, KMAT, INMARSAT, IBSAT, TISSNET, NMAT for getting admission into various branded MBA colleges like IIM, Xavier School of Management (XLRI-XSM), SP Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR), Management Development Institute (MDI), Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB), International Management Institute (IMI), Symbiosis and many other famous management schools.
Many students are
not always comfortable to face the entrance examinations which are moderate to
tough in nature. There could be various reasons.
First, they may not
feel comfortable facing such cut-throat competitive exams.
Second, there could
be students who do not have time to prepare especially for such exams or they
do not need either. For example, those who already have their own business or
are entrepreneurs yet want to know about business management in order to become
more apt in running their functions, might not be willing to face such tough
competitive exams neither do they need to. Because they would be satisfied with
any decent MBA college, the brand doesn’t matter to them as they are their own
business masters.
Thirdly there could
be aspirants who do not wish for higher salary packages, yet want the degree or
really want to learn about business management, they would prefer MBA minus the
entrance exam.
The fourth category
of students would be those who do not wish to leave their own city/town of
their origin and comfortable studying in any MBA college available nearby which
is offering the program without any entrance exam.
Also, there are the fifth categories of students who
need not face the entrance exam. There are many MBA colleges that have some
percentage of seats for management quota usually filled as per the
recommendation of the core management and administration of the
college/institute. Such students therefore get directly admitted backed by
recommendation without the need of any entrance exam.
There is yet again a
sixth category of students who manage to study MBA directly. Often the
Principal / Director of any un-aided management institution may invite students
to take direct admission via an advertisement on their website and/or
newspapers.
Actually, there are
many colleges that allow direct MBA admission without any entrance exam, but
they will typically check the academic profile of the students. They check the
graduation scores. Also, there could be other criteria that the aspirants need
to fulfil like they will not be eligible for any scholarship or have to go for
a paid internship, meet all the verification criteria of the college where
direct admission is sought.
There is a common
notion that the colleges offering Direct MBA admission are not among the best
colleges for mba in HR in India. While this is true, but not all private
colleges/universities that offer direct admission are bad. R V Institute of
Management Bangalore, Indus Business Academy Bangalore, Alliance School of
Business Bangalore, Christ Deemed University Bangalore, Apeejay School of

Delhi, Amity University, Indian School of Business Management &
